Tacloban City, Philippines — The Department of Tourism – Region 8 has given the 4-star rating to The Oriental Hotel Leyte, the first in Eastern Visayas, at a recent assembly of private and public stakeholders in the region. The property was given the rating based on the 741 accumulated points as a result of the assessment for premium accreditation by the third-party auditor and the DOT’s Central Office and Region 8 Office.
